Dog Rose Wild Flower

The dog rose flowers have suddenly appeared within the last week….walking close to them is fabulous as they have an amazing smell. These ones are at the side of the road at the edge of the village. Elsewhere, on a cycle path, there is almost a tunnel of them and the scent is intense as you walk through.

A busy(ish) day today…supermarket run this morning, and the afternoon was spent digging weeds out of the garden,,,,the garden waste bin is now full, but thankfully it is due for collection on Saturday :-)

Something to make me feel older than I already feel arrived in the post today…an invitation to apply for my state pension….it is due in September!!
