Courting

Not a great image from a technical quality point of view but we are off out shortly so it may be the best I get today. I noticed the holly blues were flitting and flirting around the garden again and having just read a Sony article about taking shots of butterflies in flight I thought I would have a go. I don't normally go this high in terms of shutter speed so I see it has potential. I maybe should have tried a different lens - they are quite tiny creatures.

I may get a better blip later - we are off to see our friend D in an am-dram Dad's Army show. I hadn't realised but he is actually starring as Captain Mainwaring. I hope to get some shots of him. We are staying over with N&D afterwards, maybe to recover from the experience.
