The Red Lion

After the Dad's Army production last night we stayed over with our friends N&D in the converted barn which they are renting. We really enjoyed the play, though sadly photography was not permitted. D gave an excellent portrayal of Captain Mainwaring. As soon as he got home though his first job was to shave off the moustache he had grown for the part.

This morning we had a walk to see the nearby dormer bungalow they have purchased and are currently doing a huge renovation project on. The garden is massive. They still aren't sure they will live in when it is finished, or just resell it. They do love their barn!

Afterwards we walked on to this pub, for a nice Sunday lunch. What a glorious day weather wise.
