A Grand Day Out...
...at Beamish Open Air Museum.
We woke to a beautiful day, and after dropping off Son#3, along with his fiancee and a friend, at the airport for their holiday in Japan, we spent the rest of the day at Beamish. As always I took rather a lot of photos: here's a small selection to be going on with before I make a Google album (hopefully in a day or two).
In the main blip you can see an old loco being topped up with coal. The first extra shows a replica of Puffing Billy (the world's oldest surviving steam locomotive) - we had a ride behind it. The second extra is Billy's crew relaxing after a trip.
The final extra is for blipper isbijg - a selection of animal medications!
