The Stamping Ground.

Original theatre, a Scottish musical featuring arrangements of the songs of Runrig. The Stamping Ground is a story about love, life and coming home. The musical premiered in Eden Court Inverness last year and is now on tour (they restarted the tour there recently- sold out!). It was very good, and well received. (There are two extra photos). The 20 songs are on a playlist on Spotify, we’ve been singing them off and on since booking the tickets! For some it was poignant to hear their songs, as Runrig played their final concert in Stirling in 2018. For me, it was good to be back at the Macrobert at the University of Stirling, my first time since 2020.

Earlier in the day we walked to the library. I returned book 6 in a series (that’d I’d systematically ordered), as I was previously given an author signed copy. We’d a good chat with the librarian, he recommended a podcast he’s enjoying.
