While Elinor competed in another footie tournament Nesta and I went to watch the US Sumo Open at Cal State this afternoon. “I’m not trying to be rude dad but they’re all fat. They’re not bodybuilders” was her verdict.
With each fight lasting less than a minute, this is a great event for our world of quick turnaround and short attention spans. The scariest looking competitor was probably Edobor Konyeha from Hungary who won the lightweight’s division very convincingly.
