A very pleasant walk...

... took us for a light lunch in the village of Ripley.

After lunch I took a few photographs of Ripley Castle, before our return walk home. 

It was only later,  when I was sorting out a blip, that I realised there was an extra element in this particular picture. 

I'm just grateful the bird didn't bomb the photographer in any sense!

The bird came and went in the middle of three otherwise very similar shots, making it a unique image for today's blip choice.
