Still life

Day two was Bamburgh Castle and a wonderful newly opened Anglo-Saxon museum (and distillery) called Ad Gefrin (highly recommended). 

Highlights of Bamburgh were entertaining the lady on admissions by my interest in completing the children's trail (it involved dragons, what can I say?) and watching the martins building nests under the corbels.
