On The Road (Again)

Coffee and toast with Mrs S and I was away.

First stop, Surfers Against Sewage HQ at Wheal Kitty, St Agnes to pick up some bits ‘n’ bobs for Mark to use on his paddle out tomorrow.
Then it was out and onto the A30-M5-A35-A31-M27-A27-A286, the south coast roads, Cornwall to West Sussex.
The weather was good apart from one fifteen minute monsoon like period at Ringwood.
Traffic was awful, on a normal Friday you would expect westbound to be busy with holidaymakers on their way, eastbound not so, but in fact both directions were busy.
Arriving at East Wittering after around five and a half hours I parked and walked down to a deserted beach to find Joshua paddle-boarding, (extra photo), always good to see him.

Mark arrived home and after unloading our overnight bags we set off down to “The Village” for a curry dinner. Really nice food but huge portions, three beers each for Josh and I, coke for Mark and we walked home to find additional visitors to Mark for the SAS Paddle Out tomorrow, fortunately they were staying in camper vans.

Long day but looking forward to tomorrow.
