Morning treat

The sunny morning allowed a small group of us to sit outdoors while we enjoyed our coffee and scones. The reason for the gathering was to meet up with a friend who was on holiday, having left the island to live nearer family in north-east England several months ago. The freshly baked scones were delicious with cream and home-made jam and the company was very entertaining. The extra shows the view we enjoyed from our coffee table.
I spent the afternoon sowing seeds and potting on seedlings in the polytunnel until it was time to take Bertie for his afternoon walk.
