Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Prince and I went to meet Kitty Cat and Marsh for a couple of pints late afternoon. Their children are away at scout camp in July for 9 days so we decided to go to Newcastle for a night* and by the end of pint 1, the hotel and trains were booked and it was in the family calendar!

So far, The Prince is very excited about taking me to the 24 hour Greggs and St James” Park. I have 2 months to reset his expectations!

We came home to mocking from The Mini Princesses “Been making drunk plans, have we?” In fairness the family calendar entry - “The Prince, The Princess, Kitty Cat and Marsh on the piss in Newcastle” may have been a giveaway!

We had a very lovely evening, sharing a bottle of wine at the kitchen table with EMP (YMP was out) and giving her our slightly tipsy banter!
