Relaxed
Everyone with a dog or a cat knows that they know just how to relax... We also know that not only can they be the opposite, but only they have the key to doing it in an instant whenever nothing better is going on and they have exhausted all their very unrelaxing efforts to make something happen.*
Spike makes a good subject for a mono image since he is the definition of mono himself. Our previous two dogs have been black labradors, so a lot of our furniture, including the TV room couch, was chosen with that fact in mind. We can't win with a dog which sheds both colors in equal proportions.
A couple with two young children rented Jim and Rob's house across the street a couple of years ago when Jim and Rob decided to move back to San Francisco. We were told that they were planning on building on a lot on Los Alamos . It was one of those houses we couldn't see from our house, initially because it was surrounded by trees and bushes, but now because it burned down in the Glass fire and is now nothing but a driveway. We were beginning to wonder if work on building the house was ever going to start, but it looks like they were just waiting for the last earth mover next door to be towed away. We can't see the property from our house, but we have been hearing beeping all day from that general direction.
Or it could be the house painted a rather controversial green that we can see from our bedroom. It was one of the first houses in the neighborhood to be rebuilt and has been occupied for quite awhile, but they could be starting to do some kind of landscaping on the other side of the house which we can't see.
An investigative walk around the neighborhood is clearly in order....
