About 60 years apart.
A friend sent me the top image of Framwellgate Bridge across the River Wear in Durham City. Judging by the buses on the bridge the pic was probably taken about 1955. I could have travelled on the bus at the back, a United L5G, behind a Northern AEC. In front of that is a Cheeseys of Brandon 1944 Bedford OWB - following a Durham District Services Bristol J. So much useless information ;-). Extras: Two more views of the bridge.
The mono image was from a Durham County Council Road Safety leaflet. My colour shot was taken in 2016.
