Back to Balsam Bashing

It was an early start for my recorder lesson this morning.  Back home it was cuppa and Wordle followed by a few jobs and then I donned my gardening gloves to go and bash some balsam in the wood.  It will take more than an hour or so to make a dent in the growth but at least it is easy to identify and pull, and Tony later reported from his run that the area we had a good go at last year is thick in bracken but with little evidence of balsam, so that's good.  Meanwhile I will continue to work my way up the stream...
