Do you like butter?

A few chores this morning and then a quick check for bugs over the back.  No hoverflies or fat legged flower beetles, but I did find this beetle on one of the buttercups,  I never realised buttercups were so hairy.

My pal came round for afternoon tea and a natter, although it was too chilly to sit outside owing to the chilly breeze.

The robins are still around and not doing much.  Just the occasional dive in for sunflower hearts, which are being taken to the hawthorn hedge at the edge of the school playing field.  If they have more than one fledgling I’d be surprised.
