Reach for the sky

A busy day.  Hairdresser this morning and old friends here this afternoon. We had a gentle walk around the wood and down round the fields before heading back to enjoy the sunshine and a catch up.

T has bowel cancer but is determined to squeeze every bit out of every day.  JJ would have made a cake but T has a scan tomorrow and couldn’t have anything to eat from 1 pm today.  

Some of the alliums are spoiling the spherical party by stretching upwards.

I saw my first Brown Argus butterfly this afternoon but didn’t have my camera.  I hope it’s still hanging around tomorrow.
