Evening walk

Another glorious day. Chris and Mike came over and brought with them a splendid - and enormous - 'picnic' lunch, though they were treated to the 'grand tour' of the house and garden before we ate. A very pleasant few hours in the garden eating and chatting. They also very kindly brought a Magnolia stellate as a house garden-warming gift, remembering that I'd admired the one in their garden. 

Later in the day MrM and I agreed that we needed a walk to work off at least some of calories we'd consumed, and decided on a walk round Digley Reservoir. Not as far as we'd thought, but very pretty. Lots of bluebells in the woods.
