Swollen-thighed beetle

AKA False oil beetle, which was down at Ince marshes, where I hadn't been for a couple of years. Sadly very neglected now, very overgrown, some paths inaccessible, fewer birds, butterflies and dragons than I was expecting. More disappointing was the lack of pigs in the field by the entrance to the reserve.
