It may not be the most inspiring or technically great photograph. But it has been great today to be part of an event that united 800 professionals from all backgrounds from across Scotland - and some visitors from Denmark.

The aim is to learn from different areas on how we might collaborate to improve outcomes for children in their early years . We had speakers from government present - a cabinet secretary and a minister, the chief medical officer and other senior officials from local government and communities. All supporting work in the early years.

But the main buzz was the commitment of everyone in the (very large) room was to working together to make a positive difference.

The tweet reference is to the challenge to secure 250000 references. (Eg #bestplacetogrowup ) be the end of the 2 day event. That was achieved by lunchtime and the event trended on Twitter. So the new target is 1 million references!

But the main issue is to work better as organisations. So an exciting and challenging day which the photo sums up.
