Quiet Times

Even though Paddy and I got to leave the house today it was a better day than yesterday. We left in good time to walk to the vets for his six monthly check but by the time we had stopped to talk to the post lady and collect a parcel we need to “step smartly” as my New Entry G.I would say.
We made it, 26kg meant he had lost a kilo but we both still got a telling off from the nurse! Aside from being overweight and having no waist, (like owner-like dog), all is well.
Home via Tregoniggie Woods to open my parcel which turned out to be battery operated portable coffee percolator which also uses ‘pods’, amazing gift from my brother, he knows me well.

Visiting the RNLI wasn’t the only thing happening over the weekend, Mark organised a Surfers Against Sewage ‘Paddle Out’ to protest at the water companies continual dumping of raw sewage into our seas.
Not the biggest demo amongst the dozens taking place around the U.K but important nonetheless.
