Twisted...

………………………………Blue

New Zealand’s native Entoloma hochstetteri - or as it is commonly known, the blue fungi.

It was a wonderful day. Discovering five of these exquisite wee fungi was the ‘icing on the cake’. I have only seen them once before - only two that time so it was a thrill discovering these in two seperate locations within the same bush area.

The collage in extra shows a selection of fungi photographed along the way, including another blue.

This blip is a day late being uploaded - we were latish getting home and then special family time followed, and by then I was ready for bed!

Thank you for the comments, stars and hearts for monarch butterfly number 2 against the white backdrop which is actually the walls of our home, also for the continued hearts for the monarch blip of the previous day.
