Stripes

Driving past a couple of fields the other day I noticed they were a rich purple from, I suspect, flax plants that are being grown there.  I went back today to take a shot and the colour had faded a little; presumably the flowers are starting to die back.  However, the colour is still there and I liked the different layers of colour across the field as some wild oats gave way to the green of a boundary layer before the flax itself.

I've played around with the colours a bit to enhance them so it should fit for Ingeborg's Abstract 'Landscape' theme.
