Day 4 Mérida to Cáceres. 45 miles.

 Leaving Mérida after a fabulous breakfast, we passed the beautiful Roman aqueduct  - spotted numerous nesting storks and rode on past the Roman reservoir that fed it.  We have an apartment in Câceres which is a gorgeous medieval town. Had dinner which was easy as the waiter really looked after us. Câceres is used for filming quite a lot and of course we arrive on a filming day - House of the dragon series 2. Some of it was closed of today for. Fascinating to see how much manpower and equipment go into a days filming.
