Day Flying Moths

I photographed my first cinnabar moth of 2023 today. The light coloured moth is one of the waves I think. These always rest under leaves. Luckily it settled under a field maple leaf above me.

Peter repaired the garden fence this afternoon. I took Mishka out there this evening off the lead. It was a joy to see her in extreme nutkin mode when she realised that she was unrestrained.
