Collecting Henry
Wee trip to Kinross services to collect our son and DiL’s dog Henry from her parents. The four of them are off to Florida in the morning to see if their apartment on the Gulf coast is fully functioning again after the effects of Hurricane Ian last October. So we’re dog sitting.
The boys played in the garden for a while then Henry explored the house for a bit. After lunch we took them to Dalkeith country park but couldn’t get to the river as they’re setting up for a local festival this weekend so there was no access. Still enjoyed our walk through the oak woods.
Prepped a chicken and chorizo bake for dinner and managed to finally catch up on my blanket (see extra). I’ve also done some more catching up on journals, just a wee bit more to go.
Henry took himself off to bed just after Mr PHL walked the boys after his art class so I headed there too.
A wee attempt at a landscape abstract, really liked this bulbous tree although I suspect it’s not a natural phenomenon. Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting.
