Reading
Tony is going carefully due to a cricked side so he has been catching up with his reading. I went up to the woodland early for an hour's balsam bashing then on return we took our mid morning cuppas out in to the sunshine on the patio. It's a daily act at the moment of peering closely at the mini meadow to spot new plants coming up and today's find was hawkbit. I was hoping that some of the many poppy seeds I scattered last year might have germinated, but no sign as yet.
Plants spotted in this mini meadow blip: chicory leaves; yellow rattle; aquilegia; campion; sorrel; plantain; meadow buttercup; foxglove and ox eye daisy.
