A few chores before heading over the back on an insect and butterfly hunt.  I checked all the buttercups, which was a bit of a task, but only found this Malachius Bipustulatus, or Malachite beetle to you and me.  I'm not sure I've seen one before.

I also chased after a male Brimstone butterfly until I got distracted by a bit of blue flitting around, eventually tracking it down and identifying it as a male Common Blue.
