Mrsfb had planned to meet a couple of friends in the town today, Friday being chosen as there is an antiques market on. Her friends had to cancel so we decided to go and see what they were missing. Not a lot as it happens - the indoor antiques market was starting to close when we got there at just after 2pm. Somebody asked 'why are you closing when there are still so many potential customers about?'. The reply was that as soon as one stall holder decides to close they all follow suit. It must be a Friday afternoon thing. The main outdoor market was also closing, and it was only just after 3pm.

In other news we had a message from daughter#1 yesterday to say they had booked their return flight from Munich for October. They managed to get the same flight as us. They said they have put grandson Joe in the free seat next to us, but the rest of them are in business class. Ho ho!
