The big day

Lots of things for today:

1. Daisy has finished her degree! In maths no less, am so beyond proud of her it makes me cry a little bit. I don’t think she quite knew what to do with herself after her last exam. Apparently had a pizza. Starting uni in Sept 2020 was not an easy thing to do and it has continued thus. She has forced herself to get to this point, hugely impressive all round.
2. And on the same day Will has had his leavers do from school. He has 2 and a half weeks of exams left after half term but attending school is not compulsory. This is from the schools perspective. From mine, he is still going in for everything then can offer him. Still a conversation we need to have…..
And for balance, am am also v happy with his calm acceptance of his exams to date. Am still not convinced he is just saying they are fine so we leave him alone, if so, it’s an effective strategy!
3. I’m camping! With Hannah. And for once in the sunshine and day light. Like a proper treat! Rosie is here to and unusually attracting comments about her excellent behaviour.
4. I cooked us some squid for tea. Bloody lovely, like in a restaurant.
