That's a Wrap!

And so it was in many ways...the hay in our two back fields was baled today - which we found quite entertaining, and alas - it was our last day in the Aveyron department...so that too was a "wrap"...

We spent the day packing up and cleaning house, but took time to sit in the sun too, as it was the perfect summer day we have been waiting for...and perfect for sketching on the patio as well. (extra)

Good news from home too..our summer cottage is open and boats are in the water..everything is ready for summer...My friend Mary en route to the Shetland Islands is having yet another exceptional day in Edinburgh, and Elaine, my neighbour back home in Canada is on a Baseball tour and today is watching the Blue Jays play in Minnesota and sending me terrific action photos to brighten my day!  

All is good. We are now looking forward to our next two weeks in Toulouse..
