Canal and Country in Rishton.
This is one of the best days we have had this May. It is like Summer and currently 18c but feels warmer. A kind old man called dave was chatting to me earlier when I was on a blip walk at the allotment called The Piggy Park. He said the warmth was too early for this time of year. The climate change pattern does impact on food growing. He had planted many vegetables from seed that were looking strong and healthy.
We were expecting a house viewer at 10am but he cancelled and the information had not been passed on.
So Paul and me went for a stroll and it helped us get away from the house decluttering and relax for a while. There were very few people about, perhaps due to the Bank Holiday, so we enjoyed the canal tow path and old railway line path, with less dog walkers and cyclist's. The railway line has given way to trees, vegetation and bull rushes.
I have had trouble posting blips from my camera to the laptopand then to blipfoto, due to the way it is set up.
So I shall keep posting on here from my Tablet but I also now have a site in the name of Grace301155.
I welcome visitors there too.
Massive thanks everyone for helping me to celebrate my 4000th blip yesterday. I appreciated all the hearts, stars and beautiful kind comments.
