No mow May

Bit of a surprising development this morning - we found out that the people at the bottom of the chain had decided to transfer the money for the deposit after all - so we were back on for exchanging contracts again.  Long story short though, they only transferred half of it, and by that time it was too late in the day for everyone to agree to accept a smaller deposit and go ahead anyway.  Exciting to be almost there though.

I went for a walk up to the pond and back after work.  Dropped off a load more of my photography mags at the little book library by the pond, watched the ducklings for a while, and headed back via the edge of the heath.  Happy to see Greenwich and Lewisham councils are letting bits of the heath go wild for the summer again :)
