Chartwell …

Gosh, my phone tells me I’ve walked 13.5 miles today! Tonight, it’s beginning to feel like it. What a beautiful day though to be out.

So park run this morning and then we took the bus to Westerham and did a circular walk to Chartwell and back to Westerham. We popped into Chartwell and this was our first view of the house through a Wysteria archway. Now passed its best but still spectacular.

The random wild rhododendron bushes scattered throughout the woods were also beautiful, plus fields full of buttercups.

An amazing day for which we are so grateful! Satisfyingly tired too!
