Alcazar Palace

In Seville and our first sighting of the outside as we approached, giving an impressive hint at what was beyond the gates. This beautiful Alcazar consists of palaces and an extraordinary garden in which generations of monarchs have left their mark. So many different architectures and heritages.

The cathedral in Seville was wonderfully cool as the temperature has risen to 38 degrees. Here we saw the last of the four tombs of Christopher Columbus and learned more of the life of this man.

Our guided tour of the Jewish Quarter of Santa Cruz was too short but only because today has been full of beautiful places and much history, all of which has been amazing. I’m so grateful for all we’ve seen and learned. My journal does it so little justice except to record it as today, and so inadequately. My camera is loaded.
