Jambo Joy

Well that’s the football season over and it was some game to finish off with. One up and cruising we lost a key man with concussion and then another to a VAR red card decision (again), compounded by an equaliser. So it was backs to the wall stuff for the next 75 minutes - lots of added time in each half. A draw and we’d finish fourth, defeat and the dreaded Hibees would leapfrog us at the death. The longer the game went on, the more the fans thought we could do it and the noisier the fans got, the more the players seemed to think they could too. Cue amazing scenes at the end (which I didn’t capture of course, being too busy celebrating, so the picture is of some tired players applauding the fans), 1:1 and fourth. Fantastic!
