Nibbles

It was the grand reopening of The Sherborne Arms today so we popped down to have a look. It was very busy, but very efficient service. It looks promising. The menu looked fairly expensive, but hey it's the Cotswolds, and if we go there we won't be driving.

As usual we recognised hardly anybody there, apart from one of our daughters' ex-teachers who we are always bumping into. Everyone seemed to be with groups of friends apart from us. We'd got our drinks at the bar but there was table service in the area we sat in, and we must have looked a bit forlorn on our own as the waitress brought us some free nibbles.

We will definitely be trying the food out in the near future.

Back home now and waiting for daughter#2 to finish her tea so we can have a Skype.

In other news we have been gardening today! I've also started work on the programme for camera club next season. It's starting to take shape. I have a meeting on Tuesday with our chairman and the outgoing programme secretary, so it will be full steam ahead after that.
