Student's couldn't give a Castlemain XXXX for anything else....
A day away to collect Junior from Aberdeen. That's him finished Uni now and they have to be out of their flat this weekend. So after a bit of reshuffling,managed to pack 4 years worth of belongings and him into the car,said farewell to his remaining friends and headed for home.
It took 4 hrs to get there this morning,the traffic on the city bypass was chocka,Dundee was a nightmare with the Radio 1 music weekend on,and Aberdeen had roads closed and a 20 minute traffic queue.
So we came home the scenic route down the coast ,over the Tay bridge,and decided to go for fish and chips at Anstruther. However the queue was down the street when we got there ,so just kept going. Round by Kirkcaldy,over the Forth and home via the local chippy. No holdups on the bypass this time,think everyone was off to Murray field to see Harry Styles,including Mrs F and Littlemiss.
Another hold up in Gorebridge while an Orange march went along the road ,then a quick stop at the non award winning,queue free, local chippy ,and home ,8 hours after leaving this morning.
The pet lambs thought I had forgotten about them when I went to feed them !
The title is reference to a beer advert of my youth, and the view from Junior's flat. Very handy .....
