Nature

Took a group of visitors from a cruise ship up on a nature walk to Marwick head this afternoon.

They had been told onboard that the cliffs are a good place to see puffins. Pity nobody had told the puffins that they had been booked to appear. I spent a lot of time convincing people that guillemots and razorbills are NOT puffins.

However there were plenty of gannets soaring around and fulmars doing acrobatics as the tried to land. Not to mention the cliffs looking spectacular as always.

Weirdly a lot of the guests were delightedly taking picture of hilariously half eaten, shrivelled rabbit carcasses to show to the crew back on board. … I suspect the joke was lost in translation.
