Arranged to visit Hyde Hall with a friend.

She has poor mental health at the moment and has lost the confidence to drive so I collected her from home.  On dropping her back I said that my journey home would determine whether or not we would still be friends.  

She lives in the city centre and the radio kept reporting of high levels of traffic due to ride London and Creamfields festival.  It was also the final day of test.series.

I stopped for compost on the way home. The garden centre had a car park marshal to deal with the bank holiday rush.  Then I stopped for fuel.

It was not so bad and I reported back to my friend that we are still friends.
