Half a kingfisher

Feeling a bit short changed by an early morning yoga class with a substitute teacher I returned for a lunch time session which hit the spot. Afterwards I left the car at the gym and walked to Linn Park via Cathcart Cemetery. I blipped the Linn waterfall however since it looks almost identical to the Shawbridge one I used a couple of days ago I’ll use it an extra.
I spent the afternoon on the balcony watching the squirrels and completed the first half of the kingfisher cross stitch.
The day though was dominated by the news of Jon W’s too soon death. A former American Seal who introduced the boys, and his own son, to survival skills in the wilds of Kintyre. My own sons' spirit of adventure, their resilience and grace under pressure has a lot to do with the weekends they spent with Jon and E.
