All gone
We had a fabulous crop of gooseberries developing before we went away, today we checked the bush and they were gone, the odd one left. Frustrating and hubby now wants to net it but I worry about birds getting caught in it.
Run this morning was warm. Lots of small jobs and cleaning done, it’s amazing how many out of date or almost empty containers I found in the bathroom cabinet.
Call from daughter in a bit of a panic saying the little one has a rash and could I go round. I drove round so was there in ten minutes and she was on the phone to 111 explaining and being asked questions. Then a nurse phoned to ask more questions and then a doctor on a video call. Trying to shine a torch on the rash while daughter held her phone so the doctor could look at it, and he was trying to get away was not easy. The doctor was happy it is not meningitis as he is lively and no other symptoms. Instructions to keep an eye on him and if any other symptom appear to call back, if the rash has not gone by morning contact the GP for face to face.
The service from both 111 and the out of hours GP was excellent, both saying she did the right thing but try not to worry which is difficult when you are an inexperienced mum and on your own.
I am home now but will go back if any change.
