A Flag on Every 'Stone

Lisa and I took a morning ride over to Great Lakes National Cemetery to see what was going on. We "visited" a friend's headstone, and couldn't find another.

I had forgotten that volunteers place flags on every headstone for Memorial Day, and it certainly added some color and somberness to the atmosphere.

As we left the cemetery, we got to our turn to go home, and were turned away by several emergency vehicles, but could see more than several parts of a motorcycle. Not good. Later on the news, it was reported that a 53 year old man was killed on the cycle. Sad.
