Angophora

The plan was to do the Spit Bridge to Manly walk but the first section was closed, so it was back across the bridge and a bus to Mosman. Balmoral to Taronga is just as scenic, but shorter.  

These Angophora - Sydney red gums - were on the last leg. On a previous walk a ranger said they were Aboriginal birthing trees.

The ferry home was 30 minutes too early for the Vivid light festival, but the sunset (extra) was probably just as good.
