Christmas Beetles

To the Australian Museum nine days early, as it turned out, for the exhibition on body adornment from Papua New Guinea. Instead there was an excellent First Nations multi-media exhibition on Barka (the Darling River) centred on Wilcannia.

Elsewhere, ten different types of Christmas beetles sat under glass.
