A view from the bridge.....
Sorry I am so late posting yesterday's entry.
I finished work before lunch and was out for much of the day which started out bright and almost summery. I was glad I had my big umbrella with me though (being a natural pessemist) as the heavens opened soon after lunch and the rain didn't let up until it was time to go home much later.
Typical!
It didn't matter a bit though as it was a lovely day and with a wander along the beach front, amble around Greenan Castle, stroll down to Robbie Burns' Alloway via The Secret Garden cafe, I reckon I must have walked about 11 miles in total.
I didn't take many photos yesterday due to the rain but this was was taken from Brig o' Doon. The Burns Monument is to the right looming over the beautiful gardens. To be honest, it's a beautiful part of the world in any weather and I appreciate having it on my doorstep when I am here in Ayr.
I won't waffle on any more except to say that if I could repeat the whole day again right now, I would.
Track? I am in the mood for some classic Deep Purple - Perfect Strangers
