‘Feet in water’

This is a Quentin Blake painting, part of a special exhibition at the WWT Barnes. There is a big room with lots of his lesser known works arranged in categories related to various aspects of nature..mainly birds. There is one group of works called ‘Feet in Water’ as all the humans have their feet in water! I thought this was apt for a blip as the chap has a camera!

We took the grandchildren and as we have been there many times they raced to the explorer playground ( a bit different to when they were being pushed in a buggy) and we were the first there today. We also watched the otters being fed with a very informative talk and did some pond dipping. 
We saw lots of swifts whirling around and a kestrel about to pounce in addition to lots of water birds. 

Much chillier than the weather forecast again!
