Sir Peter Scott…again

I know I have blipped this statue before…it’s at the entrance of WWT Barnes and looks different in every season or weather! Today we took the three grandchildren there this afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was, possibly because of the poor weather forecast. Luckily we had no rain , enjoyed seeing the otters being fed and they liked the adventure playground including the underground tunnels there and the small zip wire plus the wobbly bridge. We didn’t see too many ducklings or other baby birds close up.

We said they could each choose a book to buy from the shop and we ended up with two iSpy books which I didn’t  know were still published…and another about nocturnal animals which also had sounds of the 10 animals.
