Whitebeam

A wander through Queen Street gardens in the morning. This seems to be Sorbus intermedia, Swedish whitebeam. Found a eucalyptus and another sorbus, Sorbus sitchensis, all flourishing. 

Down to the shore at Newhaven in the afternoon. Enjoyed standing looking out to sea with warm sun on our backs, and a cooling E wind from in front. No 23 bus back. 

Looks like I get to be in Oban early next week for at least one night.
