Swans

There may be regular swans .. the cygnets are at the cute fluffy stage.

Walked over Bells' Brae bridge, then down Orchard Brae to Comely Bank. Picked up cheeses from the big Waitrose branch, then to Inverleith pond to check on swans. Watched a grey heron on the island; phone pictures didn't do it justice. 19C, and enough East wind that it wasn't hot. 

Cheese and wine with neighbours in the building, who now have a table and chairs. Encouraging them to find some of the local walking routes. 

Cleaned the glazed balcony windows earlier; more of the spatter than expected was on the inside of the glass. The morning and evening sun shows up what I missed ..
