2023 Monday — Anniversary

Today was our “Toast to 58 Years!” We have confetti everywhere!

Mr. Fun & I reminisced and celebrated a marriage that only the God of Creation could have woven and held together. He has made a way when there was no way!

Fifty-eight years ago today we said "I do!" One thing the years have taught us is that marriage is complicated. Every day we choose to say "I do!" Even on the hardest days.

Early this evening we drove north. We had reservations at Madeline's in Cambria; it was our first meal there. The food was delicious. Our time there was wonderful; this entire day has been meaningful and fun (yes, just for fun, I put on the wedding dress).

Tomorrow we step into year 59! We’ll turn our faces toward the future, take a deep breath, and continue to say "Yes!" We both agreed today that we'd definitely marry each other again!
